Sutton, Connie
I am Connie Sutton, a math coach and title 1 math interventionist at Eastwood School.  I attended Central Michigan Michigan University and graduated from Western Michigan University.  I have taken many graduate classes throughout my teaching career.  I continue to try find opportunities to learn and grow in my teaching career.  I am excited to work in this position because math is my passion, and I am happiest when I am working with other teachers and students to solve math problems.

I am married and have two grown children. I have lived in Sturgis every since I was five years old.  My hobbies are running, playing golf, and reading. I enjoy spending time with my family, and I am also very involved with my church.

I believe that all children learn in their own special way, and my mission is to provide learning activities and opportunities that are enriching to all.   I will establish a classroom climate where children feel safe and comfortable.  Working with your child, I will promote a teamwork relationship with clear goals and expectations that will instill a desire for life long learning.

Colleges Attended: Central Michigan University and Western Michigan University. Graduate classes at Michigan State, Spring Arbor, Anderson University, and Western Michigan University.

Committees I am involved with: School Improvement, Eastwood Leadership Team, SAT, RTI Coaching Academy. Math Curriculum Committee.
