Marjorie Wisler

“You are always a student, never a master.  You have to keep moving forward.”-Conrad Hall

My name is Marjorie Wisler, and this will be my second year of teaching at Eastwood Elementary School.  I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.  I am also a 2009 graduate of Sturgis High School.

In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano, and learning new instruments.  Music is a huge part of my life.  I have been the pianist at Community Bible Church in Sturgis since 2004.  I also enjoy reading to learn new things about plants, animals, people, history, and...pretty much anything!  I am fascinated by rocks and minerals, so one of my favorite places to visit is the spectacular state of Montana.  Writing is another passion in which I indulge when I am at home, as well as visiting other places.

As a teacher, I believe that high expectations are the key to student success.  Every student has the ability to learn at high levels...it is the responsibility of teachers to make every student aware of his or her abilities.  It is my goal as a teacher to discover these abilities and talents in order that I might help all of my students become all that they can be as leaders, learners and positive role models in the school community, and eventually in society.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have regarding this upcoming school year.
