Losinski, Laura
Hello, my name is Laura Nalette and I am very excited to be teaching 4th grade at Eastwood this year!  This is my third year teaching.  For the last two years, I've taught 5th grade.  I was raised in  Troy, MI by my parents and an older brother and older sister.  I graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, majoring in Language Arts.

In my spare time I love to do anything active.  I was a cheerleader throughout high school and even joined a competitive cheer team at MSU.  While I do enjoy exercising, I also love to chill out with a good book.  Reading is something I have always had a passion for and I hope to instill that same passion in my students.  During the beginning of the 2011 school year, two kittens were found in the dumpster outside of Eastwood.  Luckily I've adopted them and they have been a blessing ever since!

It is my goal as an educator to help students reach their full potential by providing resources, support and endless motivation.  I believe that parent and teacher communication is a critical key to each child’s achievements. It is my hope that you would never hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns throughout the year.
